Britains 28th Virginia 17289 (1 in stock)

28th Virginia 3 Pc. Set

When the Civil War broke out, young men from Virginia’s Botetourt, Craig, Bedford, Campbell, and Roanoke counties rallied to defend the Old Dominion by joining the 28th Virginia Infantry. The regiment was organized at Lynchburg for one year of state service on May 17, 1861, and it transferred into Confederate service on July 1. In late April 1862, the 28th Virginia underwent reorganization and had its enlistment term extended. These extremely lifelike 1:32 scale figures are hand-sculpted and hand-painted by the skilled artisans of Wm. Britain, world leaders in the production of authentic metal figures. The nine sets of the "Regiments" series depict various regiments, where neighbor fought alongside neighbor with a heightened sense of unity.
